Hey, I’m Wendy!
I’m from a small town in Wisconsin, grew up playing sports, going up north on weekends in the summer, and working since I was 14. I live with my husband, Sean, and 3 cats. I love to read, mostly fantasy. I also like to go fishing, sitting outside, and going on day trips with my husband.
I’m a pretty easy-going person. I work hard and I care about what I do. Being independent, honest, accountable, trusting, and transparent is important to me.
I have been a graphic designer for 14 years. During my career, I was fortunate to work for two small family-owned businesses. One a print shop, the other an advertising company. I learned a lot about setting up files for printing, typesetting, page layout, time management, ad design, and web design.
Design is always evolving and programs are improving rapidly. My goal in life is to keep learning new things. I like to learn about the new features in the Adobe programs I use, how other designers think and their design processes, business workflows and systems, and much more.
